Mumbai: A news has come from Breach Candy Hospital in Mumbai which has worried everyone. 92 year old Asha Bhosle has been admitted to ICU on Saturday. It is being said that she is having heart and respiratory problems.
Asha ji's health was not going well for the last few months. Now the situation has become serious. No official statement has come from the family yet, but according to hospital sources, the situation remains critical.
At present there is no clear answer to this. Ever since she was admitted to the hospital, there are prayers for her health from all sides. Everyone wants that they should get well as soon as possible.
Take the name of Asha Bhosle and an entire era comes to the fore. A career spanning more than eight decades. Not only Hindi, she sang in many languages like Marathi, Bengali, Gujarati. A song for every mood. “Dil Cheez Kya Hai”, “In Aankhon Ki Masti Ke”, “Yeh Kya Jaagh Hai Friends”—these songs sound as fresh today as they were then.

Recently in an interview, Asha ji had clearly said that she does not like today's songs much. She said, "I mostly listen to old songs, listen to classical music, listen to Bhimsen Joshi ji's songs. Today's songs? Some are good—Rahat Fateh Ali Khan, Sunidhi Chauhan's songs—but to be honest, old songs are closer to my heart."
A few days ago Tabu made a post on Instagram. She told that Asha ji had gifted her guitar. Tabu wrote, "This guitar was given to me by Asha ji. I can never forget that day. Her songs connect us with everything - love, pain, hope. They have become a part of my life."
There are some sounds which become deeper with time. Asha ji's voice is like this. The pain, the fun, the pause in her songs cannot be copied.
